As I haven't had any any experience with photoshop until now, I am really proud of how this mini project (David Carson) turned out. Looking back, my photoshop skills and technique are minimal to the level I am at now - however, I still captured the 'grunge' effect that Carson usually went for.

Overall, I am not a huge supporter of Carson's design style however I am happy with my work.

I really enjoyed responding to typographer Paula Scher. The combination of bright colours, clean lines and innovative text really appeals to me. Incorporating  Manchester, my photos and relevant topics into my designs makes it stand out as my own. 

I referred to Boris Johnson in one of my designs, just like Paula Scher would boldly incorporate polotics and important issues into her work - often portraying a humorous side to a serious situation.

My favourite design of mine incorporates philosophical questions and positivity flowing like a 'light beam' through the skylight.
