BEFORE THE FLOOD
I chose to use the groundbreaking climate change documentary 'Before the Flood' as my inspiration for the project. It explores the effects of global warming across different continents and explains the consequences western societal habits have on wildlife and future generations for years to come. I am extremely passionate about the natural world, animals and cultures - the world is varied, vibrant and fragile. I believe I could really show this in my own work.
Previously, I was going to feature James Gallagher as my third source of inspiration, but felt his style wasn't cohesive with the direction I wanted to take my project in as I went along. I finally decided that 20th Century National Park Posters has definitely made my project 'flow' better.

I feel all three of my critical links represent my work well and I tried to intertwine each style as much as I could. Olly Moss and the Vintage Posters are quite similar and I like how they compliment each other, furthermore the knowledge that Moss was inspired by these posters makes them perfect to explore together. I love how Mondo Graphics has a lot of variance in style yet still there is still a 'common denominator' of the smooth, animated visuals.
