For this stage, I chose to focus on the middle room of my house - a setting which is under refurbishment. Although it’s bare walls, grey tinge and untouched floorboards can be deemed ‘crumbling and scruffy’ by some, I have always noticed the room captures light and shadows well. Day to night, I see silhouettes and flecks of the golden slant bounce off the walls, as well as a car’s headlights passing occasionally. The blankness of the space leaves little to the imagination, therefore acting as a canvas for exterior sources, such as the weather and seasons.

I initially wanted to do Timelapse photoshoots as it emphasises both time and space - as well as focusing on light. I found that I prefer when it's dark because the silhouettes and shadows contrast against the sky. Interestingly, Sunday the 26th of march was the day the clocks went back - so the sun rose earlier and set later.
